Profile of Shashi Dhingra

With a postgraduate degree in History of Art from Panjab University , she has worked as a lecturer in Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Jammu and Government College , Hoshiarpur. Since 1987, she is working in Government Museum and Art Gallery , Chandigarh . Currently she is Curatorial Assistant and holds charge of Contemporary Art (paintings, sculptures, graphics, drawings and photographs). She has participated in seminars and was research assistant in the publication of catalogue of proceeding volume of the colloquium on Gandhara sculptures in the Chandigarh Museum . She was actively involved in the setting up of sections on 'Sobha Singh', 'S.G. Thakar Singh' and 'Nine Masters'. She is currently assisting the director on the project 'Digital Documentation of Works of Art'.

Profile of Seema Gera

She is a postgraduate in History from Delhi University and Museology (Gold medalist) from National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology. She is recipient of Small Study and Research Grant ( India ) from the Nehru Trust for the Indian Collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum . She worked as curator at the mountaineering museum of the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi for three years and joined the Government Museum and Art Gallery , Chandigarh as curatorial assistant in 1999. She holds the charge of the manuscript section. She was also associated with the setting up of the 'Dinosaurs of India' and 'Evolution of Man' sections.
