THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF PORTRAITS
The National Gallery of Portraits is a journey of India’s struggles for freedom from the rising of 1857 to the achievement of freedom in 1947. Dedicated to the sacred memory of fighters, known and unknown, it present the panorama of struggle for freedom thought the medium of photographs and authentic documents arranged movement-wise , beside related portraits, sculptures, murals and dioramas.
THE CHANDIGARH ARCHITECTURE MUSEUM
The city Chandigarh was one of the greatest urban experiments of the 20th century. The Chandigarh Architecture Museum the history of Chandigarh : the story of selection of the site the studies of the first team of architecture and planners i.e. Albert Mayer and Matthew Nowicki, the contribution of Le Corbusier, Chandigarh today and tomorrow. The sequential planning and architecture of the city is presented thought original drawings, sketches, documents, models and translates. Keeping the building closer to Corbusier spirit, it has been adapted from a structure design by Le Corbusier as an Exhibition Pavillion at Zurich.
